After making its homes in Hong Kong, Bali, and Kuala Lumpur, The Iron Fairies Manila marks the Philippine debut of one of Asia’s most distinctive and immersive nightlife concepts. Located in Bonifacio Global City, the bar acts as a portal to another world right at the heart of Metro Manila’s central business district. At the heart of The Iron Fairies is a fantastical narrative that informs every aspect of the space—inspired by design visionary Ashley Sutton’s days of working in Western Australian ore mines and brought to life through a partnership with hospitality expert Sandeep Sekhri and Boutique Bars group. The story follows solitary iron workers laboring deep underground, forging thousands of delicate iron fairies by hand before releasing them into the world. The narrative is then told in the design, which blends industrial and whimsical elements; cast iron, aged timber, and industrial steel paired with suspended butterflies, handcrafted iron figurines, bottles of curiosities, and shelves of leather-bound books. Live performances, curated soundscapes, and fantastical cocktail offerings further enhance the sense of entering a parallel world, one that curiously exists beneath the surface of the city.
